Activate Subscription
To activate your signup Cookiebot will email a registration key to the email used to signup. Copy/paste the key onto the registration page to complete the activation of your subscription.
After Cookiebot Sign up
You are now 4 steps away from completing setup: –
- Add your domain to start scanning existing cookies found on your website. (Please note this can take up to 24 hours to complete)
- Next go to “Settings” > “Dialog” to select your preferred look for the cookie consent banner.
- Install the cookie consent banner by going to the “Settings” > “Your Scripts” then copy and paste the first JavaScript snippet in the HEAD-tag on your website. Once loaded it should appear on browsing to your website.
- Install the cookie declaration by going to the “Settings” > “Your Scripts” then copy and paste the second JavaScript snippet into the BODY-tag of the specific webpage. On our site we have placed it in our “Privacy and Cookie Policy” > “Cookies and Web Beacons”
